Privacy Statement
Effective Date: February 8, 2025
1. Introduction
Integrate BC LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of users of our Dynamics 365 Business Central extensions and applications distributed through Microsoft AppSource. This Privacy Statement explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that data.
2. Information We Collect
Our extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central may collect operational and diagnostic telemetry data through Microsoft Azure Application Insights. This telemetry is used solely to monitor, diagnose, and improve the quality and performance of our extensions.
The types of telemetry data collected may include:
- Performance metrics — execution times for AL methods, SQL query durations, and database lock/deadlock events
- Error diagnostics — error dialogs, error messages, and exception data generated within the context of our extension code
- Extension lifecycle events — installation, upgrade, and synchronization operations related to our extensions
- Usage signals — page view events, report generation, and feature usage within the scope of our extensions
- Web service metrics — incoming and outgoing web service request execution times and status codes
- Job queue and task scheduler data — execution status of scheduled tasks initiated by our extensions
- Authorization events — sign-in success/failure indicators and user type information (not credentials or passwords)
What we do NOT intentionally collect: We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, physical addresses, or financial data through our telemetry. The telemetry captures operational signals scoped to extension behavior within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
3. How We Use Information
We use the collected telemetry data to:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with our extensions
- Monitor extension reliability and availability
- Improve the performance and quality of our products
- Inform product development and prioritization decisions
4. Data Storage and Security
Telemetry data is transmitted to and stored in Microsoft Azure Application Insights, a component of Azure Monitor. Data is stored in Microsoft-managed Azure data centers and is subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement and data protection standards, including industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
5. Third-Party Services
Our extensions operate within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform and utilize Microsoft Azure Application Insights for telemetry collection. We do not sell, rent, or share telemetry data with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate these Microsoft services.
6. Data Retention
Telemetry data is retained in accordance with the default retention policies of Azure Application Insights. By default, Application Insights retains raw telemetry data for 90 days and aggregated data for up to 2 years. We may configure shorter retention periods as appropriate.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Since our telemetry is primarily operational and non-personally-identifiable, such requests may be limited in scope. To make an inquiry, please contact us at the address below.
8. Changes to This Privacy Statement
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
